3 Keys to Create your Great Team
“If only I could get some decent staff!” I’ve heard that statement so many times during my career as a coach, and unless you find the right people and master how to create a great team, you’ll never get the time you need, to focus on building your business! So, 3 keys you’ll need to conquer:
- BE a strong Leader! & expect the best.
An effective team needs a strong leader to be successful. What you say, must be the way! You’ve got to lead by example and have a clear vision for the business, yourself and the team.
- BE clear on your Rules of the Game
What’s important to you? These are the internal rules that determine your team or business culture and therefore the effectiveness of your team and your company. Setting these rules is important and you must be prepared to enforce them! If a team member chooses not to comply with the company rules they are choosing to exit the team. They’re firing themselves!
- Set Clear Goals
Every business team needs to know where it is heading, and every team member needs to have individual goals and to know what is expected from them. They need to see that you care about them.
